Combine equal parts of Rosemary, Peppermint, Clove, Thyme (10-15 drops each) in a spray bottle of water. Shake and spray where you need to keep creepy crawlies away.
Vermin B GoneMice and other like critters are repulsed by peppermint, so douse cotton balls in peppermint then tuck them into entrances of mouse holes, nests, etc to encourage them to relocate.
Pollinating PowerThe scent of Neroli (orange blossom) is an irresistible attractant for bees, as are the essential oils of many small-blossomed flowers such as Lavender, Hyssop, Marjoram, Helichrysum, Basil, Sage, and Rosemary.
Try Lavender, Fennel, Helichrysum, and Sage essential oils to attract more butterflies to your garden. |
Mix one tablespoon of tea tree oil per 1 cup of water in spray bottle. Apply directly to affected plants 1-2x per week. Don’t spray leaves when weather is very hot & dry because sun-heated tea tree can easily burn leaves.
Slugs & SnailsUse Cedarwood, Hyssop, and Pine. Mix a teaspoon of your choice (or all) in a spray bottle filled with water, apply diluted oil in a ring around the plants they like to visit.
No More Nibblin'Cats dislike rosemary, so have strings around your garden with rosemary scented fabric. The same works for dogs with black pepper. Mix either oil in with water, agitate the water, soak the fabric and then tie on stakes around garden.
