My good friend, Lisa, sent me some sample essential oils in the Fall of 2015. She thought they could help my son, Tucker. I let them sit on the counter for three weeks. Finally, I decided it wouldn't hurt to try them.
The first oil we tried was labelled 'Sleep,' I put it on his feet, wrists, and behind his ears. The first night he sleep for 13 hours. What a coincidence!! But then...the next night he slept 12, the next night 11, the next night 13. Odd.
That was just enough to get me to try the second oil labelled, "Poop." Constipation had been a chronic, constant issue in our family. I rubbed it on his feet one night - the next morning he went. What a coincidence!!! Until…of course…it happened again and again and again.
Finally, a focus oil. Lisa created a blend that was supposed to help him focus at school. Pshaw…there was certainly no way that would work. I didn't tell his teachers what I did, I kept it entirely to myself. At the end of that week I received an email from his math teacher telling me he had the 'best week ever' and 'whatever changed…keep doing that thing."
Okay, fine. So - the oils helped Tucker. I told Lisa I just was interested in purchasing those specific bottles. She informed me that the 'best deal' would be a starter kit. I just KNEW I wouldn't use all of the oils - but I do like the most bang for my buck.
While waiting for the kit to arrive I began researching - I really knew nothing of essential oils (other than calling them voodoo, hippie juice, witch doctoring). It turns out - there are LOTS of people who use essential oils. LOTS of people…from all over the world. I began to wonder what I was missing out on.
Within two weeks of receiving the kit I knew my life was about to change…these little drops of God's goodness changed our lives for the better. How exactly?
I fell in love with essential oils and knew I wanted to share their power with everyone. At that point, I became a 'momtrepreneuer.' I didn't mean to, it just happened, and I'm so glad it did.
Sharing my love of essential oils and teaching people how to safely and effectively use essential oils is my passion. As my business grows - I want YOU to be a part of this movement. A movement towards holistic living. A movement towards individual choice. A movement with a higher purpose.
